Im s\u00fcd\u00f6stlichen Teil der Insel gelegen, ca. 8 km vom St\u00e4dtchen Sant’Antioco entfernt, ist sie eine der sch\u00f6nsten und ber\u00fchmtesten Str\u00e4nde Sardiniens. Tats\u00e4chlich wurde der Strand im Laufe der Jahre mehrmals mit der prestigetr\u00e4chtigen Blauen Flagge ausgezeichnet, der internationalen Anerkennung der Stiftung f\u00fcr Umwelterziehung f\u00fcr die hervorragenden Badegew\u00e4sser.

Ideal f\u00fcr Familien aber auch f\u00fcr Paare, zeichnet er sich durch einen wellenf\u00f6rmigen Strand von ca. 500 m L\u00e4nge aus. Der wei\u00dfe und weiche Sand, an einigen Stellen mit Kieselsteinen vermischt, wird von einem kristallklaren Meer mit tausend Blaut\u00f6nen umsp\u00fclt. Der flache, sanft zum offenen Meer abfallende Meeresboden macht ihn zum perfekten Strand f\u00fcr kleine Kinder, die frei spielen und das Meer in v\u00f6lliger Sicherheit
\ngenie\u00dfen k\u00f6nnen.

Gesch\u00fctzt vor dem Mistral, wird es von denjenigen sehr geliebt, die Unterwasserfischen und Tauchen praktizieren. Am Strand kann man auch Badeausr\u00fcstung, Tretboote und Kanus mieten.<\/p>\n\n
\u00dcber die Sch\u00f6nheit hinaus sprudelt Thermalwasser aus seinem Meeresboden, das seit der Zeit der alten R\u00f6mer genutzt wird. Um diese hei\u00dfen Quellen zu finden, gehen Sie einfach zur Nordseite des Strandes. Von Maladroxia aus kann man auch einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Ostk\u00fcste des Golfo di Palmas genie\u00dfen.

Um den Strand herum erstreckt sich das gleichnamige Feriendorf mit H\u00e4usern, die vom H\u00fcgel zum Rand des Strandes abfallen, wo Sie eine ruhige und authentische Atmosph\u00e4re genie\u00dfen k\u00f6nnen. Das Dorf wird von einem H\u00fcgel dominiert, auf dem die Nuraghe S\u2019Ega Marteddu steht, die aus einem Bergfried besteht, der von mediterraner Macchia bedeckt
\nist, und einer Bastion mit drei Seitent\u00fcrmen, die nur teilweise erhalten sind. In Sant’Antioco befinden sich die \u00dcberreste von 43 Nuraghen.

In der N\u00e4he von Maladroxia gibt es einen weiteren der bekanntesten Str\u00e4nde der Insel, den von Coaquaddus, was w\u00f6rtlich Pferdeschwanz bedeutet und sich auf die geschwungene Form der K\u00fcste bezieht. Ebenfalls nicht zu \u00fcbersehen auf der Insel sind die Klippen von Is Praneddas, die wei\u00df get\u00fcnchten Felsen von Cala Sapone, Cala Grotta
\nund Cala della Signora und der Strand von Turri, der sich durch einen leisen und sandigen Ton und wundersch\u00f6ne Farben auszeichnet, die von smaragdgr\u00fcn zu t\u00fcrkis, zu blau reichen.

In der Stadt Sant’Antioco hingegen sind zweifellos einen Besuch wert: das
\nArch\u00e4ologische Museum Ferruccio Barreca, das eine Vielzahl von Funden der Insel beherbergt; und die Basilika Sant’Antioco Martire, deren urspr\u00fcngliche Struktur um das 5. Jahrhundert auf dem Grab des seligen M\u00e4rtyrers erbaut wurde.
